This six-generation farm in Innisfail is the largest asparagus operation in Alberta. They hand pick every spear of asparagus all summer long, which is sold fresh or used for their beloved preserves.
They are most known for their asparagus relish, and I understand why! It is a new favourite and is used for burgers, hot dogs, or even on a charcuterie board.
We used this asparagus relish for our Burger Wars Competition at Jam’s Diner with Smoked Chili Pepper Gouda from Sylvan Star Cheese and won!
